Roy, what did you have for dessert? – Neil Amato, The Durham Herald-Sun
Should be fired for asking such a meaningless question.
QUOTE
I’m going to avoid mentioning Sean here, even though that’s what everybody’s thinking about. God, we gotta put that sack of lard on Jenny Craig. I’m going to limp for about 5 miles after practice to work off some anger, but I’m pretty sure these kids that are 30 years younger than me are going to let that get to them just like everything else screws with their heads.
QUOTE
Raymond Felton has big game experience at the 1A level in South Carolina high school basketball, so we’re feeling pretty confident about this. Every player on Air Force has individually fought through more pressure than our entire team. We are the hungriest team, but Sean certainly makes that a skewed stat.
QUOTE
Hell, who is Air Force? Is this, like, the Academy, or a bunch of guys who have been over in Iraq and are generally pissed off?)
unc would be doomed if that was the case. Oh they would win, but the physical ass-whupping would be of shock and awe proportion.
CLASSIC !

Wherever Air Force plays is 68 miles from Denver, so if they get on planes then they're idiots.
Also, you don't take shots of Night Train, unless you're an idiot, you takes "swigs."
This article was clearly written by an idiot, but nonetheless is kinda funny.

There are some hard-core mofackas in every branch. Had ex-AF officer in my IOBC class, he had played football for the academy. We had two ex-gang members (Vice Lords and either Crips or Bloods) in my Signal company ALONE.
Ironically the two ex-Gang types were decent soldiers.

It's called sarcasm. Look it up. S-A-R-C-A-S-M.
You think prissy Roy would know that that Nightrain is consumed in chugs? Think in context. It would make so much more sense if you had any grasp whatsoever of the English language.
I had to dumb it down enough to make sure you and the other trolls could have something to whine about today. Enjoy.

Royboy has instigated a false dilemma with his comments regarding the game being played in Denver. It is just a distraction. With the size of the xh fan base (Wal-Mart fans), Denver will have an abundance of tarhole supporters.
Air Force is a very small sized institution, and their Alumni base are preoccupied with the business of national policy and defense. Attendance at the game by Falcone supporters will be small in comparison. Unless there exists the "Falcon Crazies."
There will be no lack of support for xh in Denver. Roy will need to develop a different excuse.

I had a gangster in my platoon. PFC Miranda. He was a hell of a soldier (save pissing hot once), but straight out of NYC. That kid was the most dependable kid I had.
As for AF...yeah, there are some hard dudes. A few were in my Airborne class and Ranger school. I had mad respect for the combat controllers that used to jump with our Task Force. But, they are few and far between and probably got sucked into the AF and didn't want associate themselves with the rest of the US Chair Force.

I'm debating which is funnier - WW's classic parody of a typical 'hole press conference, or ghoc's obtuseness in not "getting it".
C'mon, you guys went to or go to (supposedly) one of the premier (SNICKER) educational institutions in the land. (GUFFAW).
Do a Herb Sendek press conference. Throw in some stuart scottism's, make references to Herb's upcoming rap album, you know, the basics.
/e sighs. I swear the unc crowd is the anti-Seinfeld. They have no Seinfeld (humor) in them.

Easily got it, but I appriciate humorous quips more when they're true. He could've said that they both have to "get on the bus," or "get on the train," instead. As it is, he looks kind of silly implying that the Air Force will hop on a prop jet for a 68 mile away trip.
WW would've been better served to imply that Roy would sip Nighttrain from a brandy sniffer or long stem wine glass or something. Maybe make a cocktail reference, instead. It's just not funny to say "shots" in that situation.
Anyway, I can see that neither of you understood MY post. I only noted two slips in the humor of the article, which was basically all I found in the whole long thing. I basically felt that it was needless to say that the article was actually funny as hell, although I'm barely amused by it.

Truthfulness is the basis for humor. Elements of truth in a joke are what make them funny.
