| NORTH CAROLINA: Coach John Bunting said he has no problem with freshman wide receiver Jesse Holley joining the Tar Heels basketball team after the football season finale. "We knew he was interested in that when we recruited him that's why we requested coach (Dean) Smith talk to him and he did," Bunting said. "Jesse is going to be a star in our future here. He's done everything we've asked. We're going to give him the opportunity to go with basketball after the season and then, during the winter and spring, we'll talk about our plans."
