It looks like he scanned his competition and saw no way to make the roster so he quit before he was cut. I almost like it. I think it means there is too much competition for him. Very good sign or he has some personal problems.

He brought a sorry work ethic and attitude into the Texans locker room and got his butt handed to him, I'm betting. It's unfortunate. A guy like him had all the physical tools to be a multimillionaire celebrity sports player, and didn't have the head for it.
Not a shocker - now he can take that degree and go join the real work world!
