Number of lottery picks for xh, per Chad Ford.

GAG is correct. KU couldn't drop the ball in the ocean in the second half. How did you like Barnes' typical disappearing act when all the chips were on the table the last 4 minutes? That puss acted as though the ball was a hot potato. Kept tossing it back to White to create something. What a choker

Barnes played terribly, that's a fact. But the true FACT is that this group of players had very limited experience playing together, and it severely hurt out defense. Nobody counted on us losing all of our point guards to injury.
Duke101986
Yeah, if only xh had a SIXTH lotto pick--then they'd have pulled out a W.

Kansas played like fekking shit. Queen Harry was terrified to touch the ball in the last few minutes. How many shots did White take? My goodness. The Failcon is ALL talk.

Losing an all-world PG is tough, but having talent the caliber of xh's slink away with the game on the line and cede shots to Stillman-fekking-White is equally--if not more--inexcusable.

You realize that the first round != lotto pick, right?

Number of lottos is irrelevant, because lottery pick is a red herring for how good the basketball players on the team are. Regardless, the team on the floor NEVER PLAYED TOGETHER. You could assemble a group of NBA veterans than would have lost to Kansas tonight because they were a worse TEAM. They didn't play together because of unfamiliarity.

It's relevant. Yes it is. Especially when Duke loses. Number of McD's is equally relevant when Duke loses

Feel free to link any post where someone gave Duke shit for losing with XXX number of McD's all-americans. Shouldn't be hard to find if it exists.

For the record, losing to Kansas with major players injured >>> losing to some shitty 15 seed (what was it? Lee High School?)

Your team choked and all you can do is compare it to a team you claimed sucked all year? LMAO.

With the talent unc has, all they should have to do is get the ball up the court...which white did well. he even made a few great passes (7 assist). i think barnes has officially dropped from the lotto. 5-14 in the biggest game of his career.
Lee Corso
A point can be made that White played equal or better to Butter.

13 assists, 0 turnovers in the regional, iirc. He can't help it Barnes and stickman played like pussies.

Link to me claiming Duke sucked all year?

unc played admirably. I'm very proud of the team and how they performed considering what they were asked to do.

Honestly, if you had a decent coach you'd have won this game handily.

Barnes is getting torched at IC. One poster wonders if he'll Skype "The Decision"

Btw, all those lotto picks combined for 2 pts in the last 8:15.

lol. Roy wasn't the problem tonight. Barnes missed like 95 shots. That's not on Roy. PG injuries? Not Roy's fault.

Honestly, the fact that Stilman played as well as he did is a testament to Roy getting the team ready.

I'll bet you even money unc loses by less than 5 (or wins).

Duke101986
Yeah, if not for those timely timeouts xh would've lost by 20.

Is it? Or is it simply a testament to Stilman playing with an azzload of burger boys and lottery picks and any one of us HERE would have a hard time fukkin' up under those circumstances?

when do we see the final five banner hanging from the raftors? will it have "national champions with kendal marshall" in small print?
The White Spot
Yo Yo Yo,

Small print wood say:

We would have been the national champions if we would have had our point guard. It is just like 1977, didn't you know? With Phil Ford playing we would have easily (the statistics prove us out) won all of our games. And just like in 1985 when Kenny Smith was fouled and injured. And just like in 1994, despite only losing George Lynch from the 1993 team and having Wallace, Stackhouse, McInnis, and Calabria as freshmen, when Boston College played dirty and knocked Phelps out of the game. When we have our best players we always win.

Peace out

Are you kidding me? Butter was playing 13 assists and double digit points per game in the last few games. But, that's not the point. He was the glue that pushed and pulled and made teams play defense as soon as they made or missed a basket.

Like I said earlier, just getting good numbers doesn't make you great.

Stillman played well enough. The fact that nobody else stepped up is a testament to poor coaching.
