In a given season , State will go to a post-season game that's at least as impressive as any Tire Bowl or Alan Jackson Bowl. Both schools recruit some of the same kids. Does unx own TOB on the recruiting trail? If not , again , why do they want 'im at State? Does the hole nation think that TOB's presence in Raleigh guarantee that the Wolfpack will never be a national football power? NEWSFLASH! unx ain't headin' that way either. Ever. The only way State will ever be relevant is if they fire TOB. The longer they keep him, the longer it'll be before they ever reach some place good.

Yes, obviously unc is no place good either. But the longer State keeps TOB, it gives us more time to catch and eventually pass them.

The real point is, State is a team that's knocking on the door. But they'll never kick that door down so long as that guy is there. I dread how obnoxious State / State fans would be if somebody competent was running that team.

TOB is a very good in game coach. Not such a great recruiter.
He can do the same thing at NCSU that he did at BC...average 9 wins per season..WITHOUT CHEATING.

Butch Davis was a big name coach. He was your savior, ready to vault unc into a powerhouse. But he sucks as a coach AND HE CHEATS. Now you all want to bring in AN AUBURN asst? Auburn stays on probation. Or you want the Boise coach...WHO'S CURRENTLY ON PROBATION.

Penn State actually did it. Yes, there are HUGE problems there, but those problems certainly weren't cheating. Michigan does it right. Yes, RichRod had some extra practices but that was due to his stupidity.
Wisconsin? Even Texas. Mack has kept it pretty clean. There are other teams in the Big 12 that keep it clean.

The absolute preponderance of evidence seems to indicate that top level teams are much, much more likely to have committed violations.

Do I know for sure that most programs do it? No. But I'm not blind either.
