Duhon was a lotto pick? Don't think so. Btw, Duhon has had just as good if not better career than Fat Boy. I'm surprised you didn't bring up Sheldon williams as you have in the past. Oppps! Think I know why......

Brand has a 20-10 history. One bad game a career isn't defined by. May has a "miss a lot of games, sit on the bench and get fatter" history. He has nothing save his newspaper clippings from college. And that's all he'll ever have. Now Lawson is a horse of a different color. Very impressed by his debut

Like I said college memories is all Fat Boy will ever have. Hope he's saving his money now. According to others though he's drinking and eating it up

Rockets Part Ways with McCants

HOUSTON - Guard Rashad McCants is no longer with the Houston Rockets.

McCants was invited to the team's training camp to try and earn a spot on the roster.

However, McCants is not healthy enough to compete, so he was not signed to a contract.

"Unfortunately, Rashad is still recovering from an abdominal issue that woould have made it very difficult for him to earn a spot on our roster," said Daryl Morey, Rockets general manager, in a statement Tuesday night.

"We were looking forward to seeing him compete with the mix of guards we have in camp, but he simply would not have been completely healthy."

Morey acknowledged in his statement that McCants could be brought back at a later date when he is healthy.

"We are open to taking another look at him down the line when his condition improves," Morey said.

McCants split time last year between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings.

He played his first three and a half years in the NBA with the Timberwolves.

It would be funny if Lamar Odom took his place on the roster. tongue.gif

mccancer, while a deeply troubled young man, does have talent. When his nba " career " bombs it would be nice if he could find a job at unc, you know, taking tickets or sweeping floors.

Hey TT, newsbreak: if all the people who didn't go to unx but post for them here had to stop being bandwagon fans then there would be like 3 of you holes around.

As far as McCan'ts, there's always a place for him in CLT!

MRI reveals hairline fracture in wrist
Associated Press

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- The Sacramento Kings say leading scorer Kevin Martin has a hairline fracture in his left wrist.

An MRI taken Thursday revealed a non displaced hairline fracture of the navicular bone in Martin's left wrist. The team says treatment options are currently being evaluated.

Martin is averaging 30.6 points a game for the Kings, who have lost four of five games to open the season. Sacramento was an NBA-worst 17-65 last season.

Team sources say the injury occurred as Martin reached for the last doughnut at the team's buffet breakfast. Sean "I'm A Fat Lazy AZZ And Waste Of Cap Space" May spotted the doughnut and lunged at Martin in an effort the grab it for himself. Sean "I'm Gonna Starve When My Contract Is Up" May crashed into Martin and they both fell to the floor with Lard Azz landing on Martin's wrist. Martin is expected to miss at least two weeks. Sean "I'll End The Day With A Couple Pizzas And A Few 40's" May hopes to be recovered enough to sign bobbleheads this evening.

I'm just sayin'.....

JJ Redick - 14.4 ppg/3.2 APG/50% 3pt

Shelden Williams - 7.5 ppg/5.7 rpg

Dahntay Jones - 15.5 ppg

The following Holes have yet to put up a statistic: Danny Green, Jawad Williams, Brandan Wright, McCants

Ellington and Dough Boy are both around 3 ppg.

Do the Holes have any really good players that came out of Chapel Hill in the last 10 or so years? Granted, #2 draft pick Marvin Williams IS putting up an impressive 10 ppg. laugh.gif

Sheed, Vince and Jamison and getting old and injured.

Hansbrough spent his remaining minutes making it look just like carolina. He shot more free throws than anyone else

Hansbrough entered the game to loud cheers but got off to a rough start. He missed a 15-foot jumper on his first shot, got the rebound, then got his next shot blocked by Andray Blatche.

Hansbrough went....7 for 10 from the foul line.

"Missed one." Or two. Or three. And,not fer nuthin,' it's one game. One. The tarhole nation has dismissed entire CAREERS of some Duke players. Parks,Ferry,Laettner...all of those guys played at least 10 years in the league yet, according to the holes, they were shet. A little early to be bragging about a single game.
