Penguins are a year away imo. But with Sid and that other guy, they'll get one or two eventually.

I'm predicting a 3-1 (yes, they'll score) Wings win in game 3. Then in Game 4 Detroit will activate McCarty and the SLIGHTEST dirty hit on Franzen, Datsuyk or Zetterberg will result in an over the board all out battle royal.
I can't wait.
Oh yeah, prediction for game 4...6-2 Wings. When it is 4-0 after 2 periods, Pittsburgh will show their true stuff.

With Kronwall, Rafalski, and Stuart taking turns smoking the Pens forwards whenever they even think about starting a rush up ice, I don't think McCarty will be needed this time. I truly think Malkin is scared sh!tless to take off up ice like he usually does. He's been smoked 7 or 8 times in two games.

Trust me, BD. The way that punk Gary Roberts coldcocked Franzen out of frustration, it will only get worse if Pitt goes down 0-3 and McCarty WILL be activated.
I agree, Malkin is a big pussy.

I don't watch hockey very much- but is there anything more exciting/nerve wracking than overtime stanley cup action?
those dude sell-out every minute........when you're willing to lay down on the ice and take a puck to the face just to keep the game going........and then do it again 10 more times...........geez
Pittsburgh's goaltender played out of his mind last night........the first 10 mintes of the first OT the Red Wings were all over him- he never flinched

Kudos to the Pens. I went to bed after Pitt scored with THIRTY SEVEN FRIGGIN SECONDS TO GO in regulation to go to overtime.
The Pitt goaltender faced 60 shots. LOL
This could demoralize many teams, but I think the Wings are too experienced to let it happen to them. At least I hope so.

Pittsburgh is younger. We'll see if that plays a factor in recovery.
Now the nba finals OTOH - do they START sometime in July?

This has been a bad few weeks for the Pens. Detroit has one of the best if not the best front offices in the NHL
