One question I have is...why didn't they review the spot after Romo's run after the muffed FG? He was mighty close to a first down.

Also, do you all think that the reversal of the previous spot, when Dallas got a game clinching 1st down at the 1, was "inconclusive"??

1) No, he didn't make it. It was pretty clear. Half a yard or not, he never stretched out, and the ball landed before the marker. It sucks, though, because all he had to do was either jump or stretch his arms out, and he would have gotten it. Poor guy.

2) Nah...I thought that was the right call, as well.

Also, I do NOT blame Romo for the loss. I blame Roy Williams. How do you get beasted by Jerramy Stevens TWICE?

Did anyone else think the ball used for the FG attempt looked awful shiny? No, Romo didn't make the first down, but yes, the tight end did on the pass.

If 'shinny' means 'wet' then its even less of an excuse because on one recent Seattle (or was it Dallas) game when it was raining the players were saying that it opened the pores on the ball and actually made it tackier!
They said that extreme cold & dry was the worst for the balls because it made the pores close and the ball slick.
