Exactly right, DJ--he was getting burned all day. Our offense, IMO, looked as good as it possibly could have considering the o-line is dismally bad and Smith was out again. Oh, and DeAngelo Williams needs to start seeing 75%+ of the carries NOW. Foster looked almost disinterested at times. Jake, I thought, played quite well, especially given the amount of pressure he faced nearly every play. I think we'll beat Tampa next week, but there's a huge possibility that we'll start off the year 0-3--or worse. The defense (read: the secondary) flat-out sucks right now.

The offense should be much improved once SS returns.I've never been a big fan of Keyshawn's but he made some big catches today and he competes like a mofo.Put Steve on the other side and good stuff should start happening.

Yep.I've never been sold on Foster anyway.Plus,it looks like he does better sharing the load.If Deshaun doesn't maintain some degree of interest he may not even be able to share the duties much longer.Williams WANTS to be the man.

At worst,your prediction comes true a couple of weeks early.That said,yeah,you were right.

When its all said and done, the 0-2 Panthers will be in the playoffs while the 2-0 Vikings will not. Just an opinion from an outside observer with no interest in either team.

I still think 11-5 is a very real possibility and 10-6 is almost a lock. Should be good enough to get in, but damn those guys for making us fans sweat it out.

Granted, I want the Vikes to lose every game.
The only way the Lions could make the playoffs is if they win the division with a 9-7 record.
a) The Bears are going to win at least 10 and the division.
b) The Lions won't come close to 9 wins.
