N.C. St. losing two DBs to transfer

Posted by John Taylor on May 20, 2012, 8:09 AM EDT

AP
Appearing on the wrong end of the post-spring depth chart, a pair of safeties have decided to take their collective leaves from North carolina State.

Head coach Tom O’Brien announced Friday that Donald Coleman and Dean Haynes (pictured) have decided to transfer from his football program.

Coleman, a Princeton, NJ, native, has already graduated as a rising redshirt junior and would be eligible to play immediately if he decided to transfer to a Div. 1-A (FBS) program. Haynes, who played his high school football in Georgia, would’ve been a redshirt junior in 2012 but, unlike Coleman, has not yet graduated.

In 2010 as a redshirt freshman, Haynes moved from defensive back to running back shortly before the start of the season and finished third on the team in rushing with 320 yards and three rushing touchdowns. He was moved back to defense last year.

Both players played mainly on special teams in 2011.

Additionally, quarterback Brian Taylor (no relation), who was third on the spring depth chart, has decided to quit playing football but will remain in school.

laugh.gif they get reprimanded by the faculty council, now they're not man enough to take the slaps on the wrists.

Yo Yo Yo,

FYI: the faculty council at State has an immediate 25% rule when it comes to athletes.

When the class exceeds 25% athletes then the council audits the class.

Nice to see unc's rulz saved them.

Peace out

And 90% of them graduate from unc. What's your point? Besides the one on top of your head?

Yo Yo Yo,

Pert I like you and I agree with your point in the above comment.

The problem for you is that State's system works: it does not graduate undeserving students.

unc OTOH.......well you certainly know don't you?

Rarely have I ever seen a poster who not only performs a self face at such levels but doesn't even bother to wipe his chin before doing it over and over and over again.

You are a true gift. Never leave this board.

Peace out

You do know that they were NOT kicked out of the school, right? They CHOSE to leave. They were NOT suspended. They were slapped on their wrists, and they felt MORE COMPELLED to leave than to take their lickin's.

48% of state student athletes in football will NOT graduate if they are a minority/black. A system of FAILURE to produce students AND athletes.

What a self-facial for you to call the system a success when the numbers say it's a goddamn coin toss.

Again, as I posed this question to dumbshit above and to which he fails consistently to answer, WHICH STUDENTS WENT UNPUNISHED THAT WERE CAUGHT CHEATING?

The answer? NONE went unpunished. Look at how many transfers we have had from our school and compare their prospects in the following semester. It is a telling sign as to how harsh the sanctioning system is for cheating at this university.

Face, you dumb ass. Get out of my thread

Every dumbazz affleet was NOT caught and the ones who were got wristslaps. Wristslaps are just that....wristslaps. They do not qualify as "punishments" Heck , unx didn't even refer to those half-azzed disiplinary actions as "punishments." Most were "held out" THEN "cleared to play." unx wouldn't even admit to purposely putting the chosen few on ice due to those players' fuk-ups. The "official" word was "unx held out innocent players just as a precaution." Fukkin' spin.

Kicked off the football team and/or banned from campus for six months to a year is a slap on the wrist?

Yeah, didn't think so.

NCAA cleared some students that should have been cleared, unless you have evidence you want to present

Apparently not at state.or maybe their instructors have the credentials and effectiveness similar to denialdj

Compared to shutting them and the entire corrupt enterprise down completely ( which was warranted....X 216! ) , yeah , I'll say it again...."wrist-slaps."

"Some" being the operative word here and I ain't even conceding that. "Some" also broke the rules , were held out for their transgressions THEN pronounced "cleared to play" as if they missed games simply as a precautionary measure. unx spin , reprazent. Raise up , yo. rolleyes.gif Had MFTAOATAIAC never tweeted his dumbazz "thoughts" , he ( and Davis and Blake and Wiley and Baddour and Prof Click Click and Hawkins and the other cheatin'-azz players ) would all still be right there. ( Corrupt ) business as usual. You're a funny guy , Pert.
