I can almost feel good for these guys.
Their post-Ford drought has lasted longer than our post-V drought. And they certainly have thrown the money out there over the years and have almost nothing to show for it but an occasional also-ran bowl. The irony to me is that Dabo was a stop gap promotion in the wake of Bowdens walking away and damned if the boy didn't rise up to the occasion. If Dabo had been an assistant at another mediocre program there's no way he would have been considered as a candidate. |
