Win #22 today vs Cleveland. He leads the AL in K's, Wins, ERA (triple crown) despite an "off" day of 4 ER in 6 innings (3 hits, 8K's).
Tigers are really, really playing good baseball. They now have 5 regular players batting over .300. Best team batting average (.292) since the all star break in the AL. Second best team ERA (3.84) since the all star break. |

Yeah, but they are safely in the playoffs.
I think Philly will win the WS with ease this year. |

Tigers just scored 3 in the ninth to tie and beat the Chisox in the tenth for their 12th straight win.
They just passed the Red Sox for the 2nd best record in the AL and 3rd best record in MLB. As a long time DETROIT fan I don't want to get my hopes up, but this is shades of 1984. |
