Chris Collins leaving to go midwest Capel leaving to go to SC Collins to Illinois, should they pursue it, would be pretty much a foregone conclusion. Makes sense for him. I heard a couple of short-lived rumors about Capel, but nothing more than idle speculation from people who claim to be in the know but in reality just happen to spend more time on Twitter than I do. |

As far as I know , Collins hasn't even been OFFERED the Illinois gig. The name I'm hearin' is Shaka. Besides , the NW job ( if it becomes available ) would be a better fit for Chris imo. Honestly , would love for him AND Wojo to bolt. Put Carrawell and NJames back on the bench.
QUOTE I'm sure K will give them his blessing and recommendation. I'm also sure he won't plunge a dagger in their backs like Roy does. BTW , who gets the blame for Doh? Roy or Dean? Ain't like Roy has sired any world-beaters in the collegiate coaching ranks. Steve Robinson? Modest success at a mid-major only to get in over his head at FSU then run back behind Roy's apron strings is hardly the most impressive career tragectory. |
