Duhon was a lotto pick? Don't think so. Btw, Duhon has had just as good if not better career than Fat Boy. I'm surprised you didn't bring up Sheldon williams as you have in the past. Oppps! Think I know why......

Wow! Mr. Candace Parker's career is resurrected with one good game against a shitty Bobcatz team! I stand corrected! rolleyes.gif

Brand has a 20-10 history. One bad game a career isn't defined by. May has a "miss a lot of games, sit on the bench and get fatter" history. He has nothing save his newspaper clippings from college. And that's all he'll ever have. Now Lawson is a horse of a different color. Very impressed by his debut

Rockets Part Ways with McCants

Updated: Tuesday, 29 Sep 2009, 8:28 PM CDT
Published : Tuesday, 29 Sep 2009, 1:22 PM CDT

HOUSTON - Guard Rashad McCants is no longer with the Houston Rockets.

McCants was invited to the team's training camp to try and earn a spot on the roster.

However, McCants is not healthy enough to compete, so he was not signed to a contract.

"Unfortunately, Rashad is still recovering from an abdominal issue that woould have made it very difficult for him to earn a spot on our roster," said Daryl Morey, Rockets general manager, in a statement Tuesday night.

"We were looking forward to seeing him compete with the mix of guards we have in camp, but he simply would not have been completely healthy."

Morey acknowledged in his statement that McCants could be brought back at a later date when he is healthy.

"We are open to taking another look at him down the line when his condition improves," Morey said.

McCants split time last year between the Minnesota Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings.

He played his first three and a half years in the NBA with the Timberwolves.

mccancer, while a deeply troubled young man, does have talent. When his nba " career " bombs it would be nice if he could find a job at unc, you know, taking tickets or sweeping floors.

Hey TT, newsbreak: if all the people who didn't go to unx but post for them here had to stop being bandwagon fans then there would be like 3 of you holes around.

As far as McCan'ts, there's always a place for him in CLT!
